#RebelliousLawyering: Volunteering and Organizing Opportunities

The best way to get out of the funk: do one new thing that helps one other person, every day.  Doesn’t matter how small, how indirect you think the new thing that you do is.  Every new thing matters in helping to change the energy and the direction of the greater world.

Today’s featured volunteer opportunity:

Make the Road New York (MRNY)

Make the Road New York (MRNY) is accepting inquiries for adult literacy volunteers, organizing interns, legal interns (Employment and Labor, Public Benefits and SSI (Disability), LGBTQ Legal Services, Health Care and Health Insurance, Housing (Landlord-Tenant), Immigration, Public Education and the rights of parents/students in the NYC Public School System, Policy and legislative work), Student Success Program interns.
